Is your restaurant website developed using WIX? Why not add a “Reservation” button on your website for customers to book a table directly from your site, without having to call to make a reservation.
Adding a clickable button is easy. See the video tutorial below.
Log in to your WIX website
1. Click the ‘Add’ icon in the left-hand panel
2. Select the ‘Button’ feature and choose your preferred style.
3. Drag the button to the desired location on the webpage.
4. Click the button and customise the call-to-action text as required.
5. At the bottom of the modal, click on the ‘Choose a link’ text and select ‘Web address’.
6. Next, you’ll need to add the link to your online booking widget.
7. Go to your Tableo account and navigate to Settings > Account settings > Online bookings.
8. Click the ‘Share and embed’ button in the top right-hand corner of the page.
9. In the Add it to your website section, click the Copy button and return to your WIX website.
10. Paste the URL into the field and click ‘Done’.
11. Adjust the size of the button to fit your call-to-action text
12. Click Save and you’ll be able to preview your site to test everything.
Once a user visits your website and clicks the ‘Book a table’ button, they’ll be taken to your restaurant’s online booking widget!
