If you manage a chain of restaurants, you can create a single booking widget that lets diners choose between your venues using radio buttons.
Here’s how to set it up:
Step 1: Ensure Your Chain Is Set Up in Tableo
We recommend that your restaurants are linked under one chain. See how to do this here →
Step 2: Copy the widget URL from one of your restaurants
1. Go to Settings > Account Settings > Online Bookings
2. Copy the widget link of any one of the restaurants in your chain
3. Paste it into a notepad or browser — the long URL will look like this:
Step 3: Build the multi-venue URL
To enable the outlet selector, you'll need to modify the widget URL:
1. Find the part of the URL that ends after your restaurant name (e.g. /gwens-bistro/ highlighted above)
2. Modify the URL by adding: multiple?restaurants= followed by the other restaurants in the chain, and a comma
/gwens-bistro/multiple?restaurants=restaurant-1,restaurant-2,
Example:
https://app.tableo.com/widget/gwens-bistro/multiple?restaurants=gwens-bistro,bens-bistro,&bgColor=...
Important:
- Each restaurant name must be separated by a comma
- The last restaurant name should be followed by a comma and end in &
Use the exact name as shown in the Tableo URL when you switch restaurants:
https://app.tableo.com/admin/restaurants/bens-bistro/
Once this is set up, your booking widget will display a venue selector at the top, making it easy for customers to book at the location they prefer.
Important:
- You need to update the widget with the method above for each restaurant in your chain.
