Accepting payments with Stripe is very simple and cost effective. Stripe charges vary depending on the origin of the customer’s card. Tableo charges 1% on top of Stripe’s charge and lastly the 18% VAT is added. Below are the different cases and examples of charges based on a €10 booking payment made by a client:
1. European Economic Area cards: 1.5% + €0.25 + 1% + VAT
(For a payment of €10 you would be charged €0.49 + VAT per payment)
2. UK cards: 2.5% + €0.25 + 1% + VAT
(For a payment of €10 you would be charged €0.46 + VAT per payment)
3. International cards: 3.25% + €0.25 + 1% + VAT
(For a payment of €10 you would be charged €0.64 + VAT per payment)
